This includes your name as you enter it when you register, the email address that's linked to your Google account which we use for authentication purposes, and your couple name along with an invitation code that allows us to link you with your partner. These pieces of information are essential for the basic functionality of the app.
Beyond this required information, there's optional data that we collect during your use of the app, but only if you choose to provide it. This might include nicknames you assign to yourself or your partner, comments and personal notes or diary entries you add inside the app, and challenge ratings or answers you provide in couple-based games.
Regarding photos and media you upload, it's important to note that these are stored only on your device, not on our servers. We never have access to your personal photos, which means your visual memories remain completely private and under your control.
Your data is used solely for the purpose of making the app functional and enjoyable for you and your partner. This includes creating and managing your account so you can access all features, connecting you with your partner through the invitation code system we've developed, enabling app features such as memory albums, challenges, and ratings that make the experience meaningful, and providing internal insights that help us improve your experience without sharing any of your information externally.
We want to be absolutely clear that we never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your information stays within our system and is used only to enhance your experience with Our Memories.
We are committed to keeping your data safe, which is why we've implemented several security measures. All communication between your device and our servers is protected by secure HTTPS encryption, ensuring that your data cannot be intercepted during transmission. Your data is stored on servers that employ strong security measures, including regular security audits and updates.
Your personal data is kept only as long as your account remains active. If you ever decide to delete your account or withdraw your consent for us to process your data, you can simply delete your account through the Application. This process is irreversible, so we encourage you to export any data you might want to keep before requesting deletion.
You have full control over your data and can exercise several rights at any time. You can request to see exactly what data we hold about you, ask us to delete all of your personal data, or withdraw your consent for us to process your information. We use Google sign-in OAuth technology to make registration both fast and secure for our users. This system allows us to verify your identity without storing your Google password, which enhances security for everyone involved. When you register through this system, we collect your Google email address for authentication purposes, along with your name and your couple nickname, which you enter manually during the setup process.
You're responsible for making sure the information you provide during registration is accurate and up to date. You also agree to keep your account secure by not sharing your login credentials with others and by maintaining the confidentiality of any account information. If you suspect your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

Photos deserve special mention here because they are not stored or processed on our servers, so this license doesn't apply to them in the same way it applies to text content. Your photos remain entirely under your control and ownership.
